Gossamer Gear Kumo
The new Gossamer Gear Kumo 36 Superlight Backpack is an ultralight backpack with a smaller volume that has the right features for both the minimalist thru-hiker and ultralight weekend warrior. Quickly access gear with the OTT (Over-the-Top™) closure system or grab vital goods from the zippered pocket. Store a jacket in the large power mesh pocket before you hit treeline and store your essentials in the tough Robic side pockets. The removable hipbelt has pockets for easy access to snacks and essentials, and the 1.5” webbing allows for a custom fit and solid weight transfer and load control. Now available in two different sizes!
Kumo Backpack Features
- Recommended for loads of 25 pounds of less
- Made of GG’s custom 70 and 100 denier Robic nylon
- Dual, reachable water bottle pockets
- 4 “D” rings on top allow for strapping a pad or other items on top of the OTT™ closure system
- Ergonomic (Men’s and Women’s) shoulder strap system
- Detachable 1.5″ nylon seatbelt webbing hipbelt with pockets is now included
- Rear mesh pocket great for drying gear and other gear storage
- Sewn-in web loops, shock cord, and cord locks for side or back compression
- Grosgrain drinking tube keeper loop are on shoulder straps
- Lashing loop doubles as ice axe holder
