Silky Gomboy Curve
Folding saw SILKY Gomboy Curve is a popular garden and outdoor saw perfect for all types of general pruning activities. The saw takes up little space in your pocket or backpack and you can always have it on hand.
Saws with curved blades are more efficient than straight blades, which are made for precision sawing. The curved blades are excellent when you are working in positions above the shoulder or below the knee.
Gomboy is a flexible saw that can handle both small and large branches. When not in use, you can easily fold the blade into the handle to store it safely.
With a rubber-coated and grip-friendly handle, it absorbs vibrations and offers a grip that feels comfortable in the hand even after prolonged use. With the help of the locking mechanism, you can securely lock the blade in two different positions and select the angle and working position that you prefer.
How to use Silky saws correctly
Silky saws are designed to cut on pull. The thin blade does not bend as it works under tension during pulling. If your saw ever gets stuck, do not push hard forward and never turn the handle, this can damage the blade. Be sure to relieve the weight from the blade to loosen it.
Silky’s precision manufacturing makes it very easy to saw. Do not use arm strength to speed up sawing. Let the saw do the work.
The blades cannot be sharpened, however new blades can be ordered separately (contact us).
Take care of your Silky Saw and keep the blade clean for better sawing results. Wash your blade regularly in soapy water and the sharpness lasts longer.
Silky or Packraft Sverige takes no responsibility if the saw is used incorrectly.
Sawing technique
Hold the branch firmly
Start sawing by lightly pulling the blade over the branch in the direction of you.
Carefully push the blade forward. No sawing takes place in the forward movement.
Repeat until the branch is cut.
Use light pulls and push forward slightly – let the saw do the work!
