Anfibio Revo CL – Ultralight Packraft with Self-Bailing System

The Anfibio Revo CL is an ultralight packraft designed for both calm waters and rapids. It is equipped with a self-bailing system featuring an integrated closure mechanism and the unique TwinTail™ system, which enhances maneuverability and stability.

Intended Use

Closable Self-Bailing System

One of the most prominent features of the Anfibio Revo CL is its self-bailing system, making it particularly suited for paddling in rapids and other water environments where water frequently enters the boat.

The integrated self-bailer consists of a drainage hole at the bottom equipped with a roll closure. This system quickly removes water from inside the packraft, eliminating the need for manual bailing and allowing the paddler to focus on navigating, even in more demanding conditions.

What sets the Revo CL apart from many other self-bailing packrafts is the ability to close the drainage opening, making it more versatile for different water conditions. When paddling on calmer waters where self-bailing is unnecessary, the drainage hole can simply be closed to keep the interior completely dry. This significantly expands the range of use for the packraft.

Thanks to the self-bailing construction combined with the inflatable floor mat, the seating position is elevated above the water, further reducing the risk of getting soaked when paddling in more challenging conditions.

TwinTail System

The TwinTail system is a unique design feature of the Anfibio Revo CL that improves both stability and maneuverability. The double stern, or TwinTail shape, provides better directional stability in the water while reducing drag. This means the packraft maintains a straighter course without requiring the paddler to make constant corrections, resulting in a more energy-efficient and enjoyable paddling experience.

This design also affects how the packraft responds in moving water. The TwinTail system helps reduce rear wake and turbulence, making the Revo CL feel more responsive and easier to control, even in technical rapids.

Inflatable Floor

The Revo CL comes with an inflatable floor, which plays an important role in the packraft’s design and functionality. It acts as an additional protective and comfort-enhancing component, especially in combination with the self-bailing feature.

The floor is designed to create a smooth and stable surface in the cockpit, making it more comfortable to sit on during long paddling trips. Beyond comfort, the floor also optimizes the self-bailing system. Since the floor is elevated from the bottom of the packraft, water can easily flow underneath and drain through the self-bailing valve, ensuring the paddler does not sit in a puddle.

The floor is made of durable, water-resistant material that is easy to clean, ensuring longevity even with frequent use. Thanks to its adaptable design, the mat can also be combined with other accessories, such as extra seats or cushions, to further enhance the paddling experience.

Tubebags

The Anfibio Revo CL is available with or without tubebags. Tubebags offer a smart and efficient way to store gear inside the tubes, keeping the equipment dry while also ensuring an even weight distribution in the packraft. Essentially, tubebags are waterproof storage bags that hang inside the tubes behind a waterproof zipper.

Storing heavier items inside the tubes lowers the center of gravity, improving stability and making the packraft easier to maneuver. Additionally, this setup frees up more space in the cockpit, providing a more comfortable paddling experience.

For those who prefer traditional packing methods or have their own waterproof storage solutions, the Anfibio Revo CL is also available without tubebags.
