Seek Outside Guardian
The Guardian is an ultralight two person hot tent that is lightweight enough for solo trips.
If you take solo trips and value space, but also do trips with two people, the Guardian is a good fit. Throw in wood stove capability and late season comfort opens up. The Guardian is a bit larger and a small amount heavier than the Silex or Eolus, but with more room and geometry that allows for the use of a wood burning tent stove. The result is a tent light enough to pack on solo trips, but big enough for two ultralight minded people in cold weather, with a tent stove.
The Guardian pitches with two trekking poles and the small footprint means you can squeeze it into tight spots. Careful catenary cuts allow for good seam tension which translates to wind and weather performance. The doors open taller than the Eolus, which gives easier entry and exit.
The patented Zipperless Doors make this tent easy to use, plus more durable and lighter weight than most.

Zipperless doors
The Seek Outside Guardian is equipped with Seek Outside’s patented zipperless doors. This means that the tent’s two doors have no that can fail or get stuck.
This new type of door has many advantages compared to zippers:
- Fewer parts that can fail
- Works in all weathers; no zippers that freeze due to condensation or sleet.
- No leakage. Zippers often need to be covered to prevent leaks. This is the solution.
- Super easy to create good ventilation. By pulling the doors up a couple of decimetres or more, you easily create very good ventilation in the tent, without the risk of rain entering.
- No doors need to be rolled/hung in separate attachment points.

Efter bara en natt i den ger jag fyra stjärnor, då det behövs mera användning för att ge full poäng. Verkar dock mycket lovande. Gott om utrymme för en 192 cm lång man, mera sittutrymme än i en pyramid och två personer ska rymmas utan problem, men då är inte båda helt bredvid kaminen. Ett litet och lätt paket, och lätta att sätta upp.
